We will walk along the stretch of coast between Cittadella dei Maccari, south of the Vendicari reserve, to Marzamemi. In the initial part of the excursion we will explore the Byzantine age complex with its catacombs and a Byzantine cuba: "la Trigona", also depicted by the French painter Houel. Then we will walk along the stretch of coast that passes through the San Lorenzo beach until we’ll reach the small village of Marzamemi, bathed by the waters of the Ionian Sea.
