Cava Misericordia is among the most spectacular canyon of the Hiblean highland. It is also called “The cave of the hundred mills” because it is rich in these buildings that work thanks to the homonymous stream. It is a valley where human activity was very flourishing and water flowed in abundance. Now peace and silence reign supreme in this place. We will take a pleasant and relaxing walk that will show us the postcard views and the beauty of a landscape rich in vegetation of all kinds. We will also visit what remains of the ancient water mills and the Eremo della Misericordia.
